I was trying to find a few things about Mormonism online and I find that some people wonder if Mormons eat Pork.
The Mormons have a code of health that states that they are not allowed to drink coffee, tea, alcohol and that they should consume tobacco and do drugs however that code of health doesn’t say anything pork.
That code of health is called the Word of Wisdom, you can read the details in a Book called the Doctrine and Covenants.
The Doctrine and Covenants is a book which consist of revelations that Joseph Smith received.
The section 89 of the Doctrine and Covenants says:
Yea, flesh also of beasts and of the fowls of the air, I, the Lord, have ordained for the use of man with thanksgiving; nevertheless they are to be used sparingly;

That scriptures that you aren’t supposed to eat lots of meat but it is not a prohibition in Mormonism

What Church Prohibits Eating Pork?
I think that people wondering eat Pork has to do with other religions prohibiting eating it.
There is a scriptures in the Old Testament which might be the root of that Prohibition.
Deuteronomy 14:8 says:
También os será inmundo el cerdo, porque tiene pezuña partida pero no rumia. No comeréis su carne, ni tocaréis sus cuerpos muertos.

One of the religions that prohibits pork is the Adventist Church
The Adventist Guide website says the following:
Seventh Day Adventists do not consume pork. According to the Bible, Leviticus 11 sets clear the divide between clean and unclean meats

I think that’s where the confusion arises. People tend to confuse mormon beliefs with beliefs held by Adventists and Jehova’s Witnesses
These there religions were founded in the 17th century in the United States so people might not know what religions believes what.
